VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE TO ALL PASSENGERS:
Be aware that steam locomotives may emit sparks, ashes and oil which can result in injury or damage to clothing for which we cannot accept liability - please wear suitable clothing.
Our locomotives get very hot - so please do not touch them, and keep off the railway tracks! Please read the Train Riding Rules at the Ticket Office before boarding the trains.
We offer clean toilet facilities, including disabled access. A wheelchair accessible carriage is available on request. Printed timetables are available from the ticket office for you to take home. Unused tickets can be used on a later date.
You may park in the field if ground conditions permit - access to the railway's premises by vehicle is strictly limited to disabled badge holders and members of our Society involved in running the railway. The car park fields close at 5pm. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents.
ORGANISING A BIRTHDAY PARTY? PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION:
We do not charge for birthday parties and we cannot offer any special arrangements, but you may invite your guests to our railway on a scheduled public running day as per the timetable, i.e. between 1pm and 5pm. We do not allow barbecues or similar items or any ball games.
In return for this concession, we expect you to buy tickets for the trains and to buy our refreshments.
We serve hot and cold beverages, ice cream, cakes and other refreshments at very reasonable prices.
Parents must stay with their children at all times and closely supervise them.
Please take all your party litter home as we do not have a bin lorry collection.
There is strictly no access into the railway by vehicle
